Michel Février est né le 29/07/1947, à St-Raoul, commune de Guer.
Parallèlement à sa scolarité au lycée, de la 6ème jusqu'en terminale, il apprend l'équitation à la section équestre militaire de St-Cyr/Cöetquidan. En 1967, il s'engage dans l'Armée et intègre les Sports Equestres Militaires en 1974 (S/maître). Il quitte l'Armée en 1984, après avoir servi, entre autres, à la Section Prestige du Cadre Noir de Saumur. Depuis, il s'est établi avec son épouse et sa fille Morgane, près de Toulon.
